Spirituality veiled as an Aesthetic Fairytale
Updated: Oct 13
It is as if the earth herself is waking us up by vibrating and shaking through every cell of our being. We’re barely able to hold onto the world as we know it. It is slipping through our fingers. This might trigger a reaction from our ego that loses itself in panic and anxiety. You might want to desperately grasp to a branch of a tree to hold onto. You might feel like all of your buttons are pushed by the ongoing tension, unrest, lack of clarity and direction.
Centuries of collective trauma is being cleared from our cells. Our solar plexus is working overtime to clear all polluted energy from all layers of our energetic system. You might feel dizzy, exhausted and disorientated. It is as if you are in a washing machine. We are in heavy energetic weather since last week and it feels like it keeps ramping up. There can be a lot of pressure felt around the skull, alta major chakra (back of your neck) and throat chakra.
You might feel like all of your buttons are pushed by the ongoing tension, unrest, lack of clarity and direction.
What is not aligned, is moved out of the way
The immense stream of light that is pouring through our crown chakra powerfully moves everything that is not aligned out of the way. No corner is left in the dark. We naturally react with resistance on all the light that is pumped through us. The pelvic floor might feel empty. As if all life force energy has left the building. Our awareness moves higher and higher in our body: this is a flight reaction. This is a way to avoid feeling the deeply held pains that are now coming to the surface.
When we are conditioned to dissociate when what we are feeling, is too much to process all at once, we are energetically leaving the body as a coping strategy. This might come up strongly right now for some of us. We are trying to get our feet firmly on the ground again, but might be confronted with core pains in our root chakra that are now magnified. Family karma and our own inner child experiences can now be felt intensely when we try to be present in our root chakra.
Spirituality veiled as another way
to reject our human experience
Thorough grounding asks of us to take our blindfolds off. It asks of us to drop the act of deep spirituality veiled as another way to reject our human experience. This is where we have created an aesthetic, illusionary extract of what spirituality is in its essence. It is where we strive to be another idealized, goddess-like version of ourselves. With masked soul searching journeys and a lack of willingness to look through the veil of our own perfectly created illusions. This can be a trauma response to avoid any pain that we don’t want to look at and instead, push aside.
The fairytale we tell ourselves and others of our journey through deep spirituality, can reveal to us where we are resistant to seeing ourselves and our lives for what it is. When we are striving to be the perfect human with the perfect life, but in the context of spirituality, we might be doing what we have been doing our whole life. We have only chosen a different stage to perform on. It is time to close the curtain and look deeply within ourselves to find out what is true to us.

A fairytale of self-abandonment
Somewhere in that fairytale, there is an inner child feeling abandoned and tired of you who is consistently finding ways to not connect with her and instead strive towards an idealized portrayal of what you want yourself and your life to look like. You can step out of this at any time and guide yourself back home to yourself. You will be received with open arms. So come back and put your feet firmly on the ground.
